We are the AKA…
…and we provide exceptional Early Childhood Education (ECE) experiences for children and their families and whanau through our Auckland-wide network of kindergartens and our KiNZ Centres-these are magical places where young Aucklander's get the very best start to prepare for school and beyond - and a lifetime of being a curious learner!
It's our "magic" that makes us the choice of parents, as well as the employer of choice to our passionate dedicated people. Our legacy began over 100 years ago, and our team of Administrators based across our kindergartens and KiNZ early learning centres, play a key role in our ongoing success.

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills - you build and maintain outstanding relationships
- Flexibility, adaptability, tolerance and perseverance
- Strong computer skills (preferably Mac)
- A passion for working as a part of a collaborative team, as well as great individual focus
- Strong attention to detail - you strive to deliver the very best work
We are a charitable trust, so yes, we can't pay corporate salaries - however, the AKA is an extraordinary place to work. And as they say - life is short, so work somewhere awesome!
This position can potentially be worked as 2 x 6 hour days, 3 x 4 hour days or 4 x 3 hour days each week…and we also have an Admin Reliever Pool - which would give you even more flexibility and the opportunity to work across different locations.
