As an employee champion you will provide support, advice and resources to SKYCITY employees so that they are able to contribute fully both at work and in their homes and communities. You will be supported and professionally supervised by an external registered psychologist.
Ideally you will have prior experience in professions such as community policing or counselling, have knowledge of employment, human rights legislation and be experienced working with a culturally diverse workplace. But you may also have relevant experience gained working in a support or leadership role within your community.
With your calm and level headed approach and strong communication skills you will be able to resolve conflict and problem solve with ease. If you are someone with a high degree of personal integrity, are empathic with effective mediation and listening skills this could be the unique and rare opportunity for you.
