Who we are

We are the Division of Shared Services, a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to all of the University’s internal and external customers.

About the Role

You will provide effective and efficient administrative support to staff, students and patients in clinics operated by the University. A strong customer service focus and confidentiality are critical to success in this role.

Accountabilities include:
  • A wide range of administrative support for clinics. Including providing reception services; patient registration and updating information; booking appointments; appointment rosters for students and clinicians; processing referrals; assisting clinicians with reporting; utilising computer systems and billing.
  • Providing a wide range of general administrative support for clinical staff and students within the clinics.
  • Confidential management of patient records.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a busy administration role where high levels of customer service delivery and confidentiality are expected.
  • Experience of working in a clinic environment would be preferable.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of programmes.

Due to the nature of the Shared Services Division, the range of tasks and responsibilities is broad and may require performing duties at different workplaces or locations across campus.

We welcome applications from candidates for full and part-time roles. We are also looking to appoint a semester only (mid-February to mid-November each year) part-time position (12 noon – 5.30pm with a half hour break).
