ADHB Sleep Services are looking for a Sleep Physiologist to complement our existing accomplished team of nurses and physiologists who work together to diagnose and treat and sleep disordered breathing.

The successful person will be working with a dynamic team of professional health workers where you are also provided with full in-service training and supervision.

ADHB Sleep Laboratory is a fully accredited 8 bed unit that currently has six fully operational PSG beds, with an additional two beds available for limited studies, overnight saturation, pressure titration studies, and bi-level review studies.

Our primary function is to assess and diagnose Sleep Disordered Breathing in adults. We are also capable of diagnosing other sleep related disorders including limb movement disorders and narcolepsy.

Sleep Physiologist works with patients suffering from Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) in the inpatient sleep laboratory setting providing; assessment, management of patient care, clinical interventions and education treatment.

Our successful applicant will ideally have:

  • A strong background in physiology, with a passion to match
  • Full Clinical Physiologist registration and current APC (sleep scope), or provisional registration and enrolment in relevant training programmes to achieve full registration
  • Readiness to work shift work hours routinely

We have two fixed term roles, one full time and one part-time.
