About the role

As a Customer Service Representative within our busy Freight Forwarding team at our Onehunga site in Auckland, your experience in customer service and administration will be essential in providing quality customer service outcomes for our customers.

You will work as part of our General Customer Service Team where your role will focus on inbound customer enquiries by phone and email. You will be responsible for keeping our customers informed as their freight travels through our network. You will also provide backup assistance to team members to cover leave.

Skills and Experience

  • Must have knowledge and experience of working in a Customer Service or similar customer facing environment
  • Customer centric
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Self-motivated to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Inspired by problem solving and being solution focused
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Positive work ethic
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Interest in Continuous Improvement

You will need the ability to think fast on your feet, multi task and find solutions outside the square. Experience in transport or freight industry is preferred and particular container movements advantageous.
