The Strategy and Funding Directorate has recently undergone a significant refocus and restructure that has resulted in the establishment of this senior role.
The Senior Funding and Relationship Manager - Hospitals and Clinical Support is part of the Funding and Relationship Team. The role is responsible for managing the relationship with the Provider Arm and leading the development and negotiation of the price volume schedule and associated service level agreements.
The position will also manage a few NGO agreements.
We are looking for a confident leader who is passionate about improving health outcomes and is committed to the DHB's priority of radically improving Māori health and eliminating inequities. The preferred candidate will thrive in a changing environment and will be adept at developing effective and sustainable provider relationships.
To secure this role, you will need to demonstrate success in managing provider relationships and be experienced in managing procurement processes. You will have strong contract negotiation skills and be confident in managing provider performance against contractual requirements.
An understanding of Tikanga Māori and the ability to engage in Māori settings is essential and experience within the health system is preferred.
