Our client is currently on the lookout for a Commercial Accountant, responsible for the day to day finance operational management of the business.
This is a pivotal leadership role and the successful applicant will be responsible for managing operational costs by providing strategic input and management across the company’s financial processes. The role will seek to achieve optimum profitability by providing the direction, leadership and guidance to the operational teams.
The Commercial Accountant will have primary accountability for:
Serving as the lead expert for operations financial performanceDeveloping a model to enable reports on and provide insights, analysis and forecasting of the company’s operational finance performanceWorking with the management team to drive outcomes within the budgetEnsuring effective billing processes are in place for the company and the Delivery PartnersWorking with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure the company has a well optimised supply chainLeadership support to the senior management team by contributing to the development and implementation of the business strategy
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience delivering large projects and using best practice project management disciplinesProven experience in a similar role, responsible for the company’s operational finance performanceExperience implementing improved financial processes and toolsProven experience at a senior management level with the demonstrated experience and ability to lead and drive a high-performance cultureQualifications in finance or operational management will be viewed favourablyMust be a Chartered accountant
