About The Role
We are seeking a Bin Maintainer to join our friendly team in Mt. Wellington. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all bin stocks to meet operational requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all bins and associate equipment are maintained
- Setting up and operating hand tools, including but not limited to gas cutting, drills, grinders, clamps
- Making sure the bin park is kept organised and tidy
- Requisitioning or repair parts and associated consumables through the Bin Maintenance Charge Hand
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Valid NZ Forklift and valid NZ Driver’s License
- Qualification in welding to AS/NZS 2980
- Experience in MIG welding and fabrication and in using a range of engineering hand and power tools
- Excellent communication and time management skills
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate mechanical aptitude and had the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
