A newly created Musculoskeletal (MSK) fellow full-time position is available within the Radiology Department for a 6-12 month fixed term period commencing in Dec 2018. As a Fellow you will be exposed to training in musculoskeletal MRI and US and MSK injections under ultrasound and CT guidance including spinal interventions and bone/soft tissue biopsies. Research projects carried out during this fellowship are encouraged.
We have a newly rebuilt state of the art facility with modern equipment (including access to 2x 3T and 2x 1.5T MRI scanners), we are growing the service to meet demand and we are focussed on creating and maintaining a welcoming and flexible work environment for all our staff. We have established links into all speciality and subspecialty clinical teams across the Waikato District Health Board including providing imaging support for a Level 1 Major Trauma Centre.

Applications are called from doctors who are registered with or eligible for the New Zealand Medical Council and completed Radiology Training to FRANZCR level or equivalent. The Fellow will be included in the after-hours registrar roster for Radiology.
