We're looking for an experienced adviser committed to turning strategy into action, advising managers on best practice and ensuring WorkSafe can demonstrate real world success. You'll be someone with a strong interest in making our workplaces healthy and safe, as well as enthusiastic about working with managers to achieve this.
Do you enjoy connecting strategic planning and reporting to individual team planning and reporting? We need someone who can stay up-to-date on best practice approaches and can deliver this on the ground to make a difference. We need to mature our approach so that people, finance, projects and business as usual resources and deliverables are well defined, aligned and managed within a simple and intuitive streamlined approach that also enables ongoing milestone tracking, risk and budget management visibility.
You are a member of the wider Strategy and Performance group which connects the Government's strategy to WorkSafe's strategy and monitors performance of these strategies.
You will be the subject matter expert in connecting business activity to strategy, and responsible for lifting WorkSafe's overall team performance reporting. You will need to be able to quickly assimilate new information or areas of work and understand unfamiliar and complex issues.
The key to success in this role will be the ability to think strategically, develop frameworks and manage organisation wide systems and processes. We need someone who is a great communicator with the skills and credibility to successfully provide coaching and support to managers.
