As a Regulatory Advice Officer, within our Business Services Team you will provide consistent technical advice and education on a wide range of regulatory services to external customers. Your primary tasks will be to accept applications and provide advice for enquiries relating to Alcohol Licensing, Building and Resource consent processes (including guidance on the principles and purposes of the relevant regulations). You will also provide support for Pre-Application meeting process.
To be successful in this role you will have a relevant building industry tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience within a regulatory environment. You will have a passion for exceptional customer service, effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills and have the desire to seek opportunities for learning and initiative in finding a solution. You will pride yourself on being adaptable; responding to ad hoc events requiring support as and when requested, thriving in an environment where no two days are the same!
