Over 100 people from a broad range of different engineering disciplines work out of our Hamilton office, which has a depth of knowledge and exciting office culture that enables our people to play a huge role in the day to day life of people in the Waikato region.
To be part of this exciting growth, we are looking for a Roading Engineer with road maintenance and asset management experience to join the team. The role will include working with key clients in the transport infrastructure sector to help manage road networks in the region. There will also be opportunities to work on delivery and construction supervision for infrastructure projects in the Waikato and throughout New Zealand and across the Pacific.
Working with some of NZ’s best engineers and asset managers, you will: -
- Be responsible for undertaking site assessments of road assets
- Be able to collaboratively undertake conceptual designs through to detailed design of road maintenance solutions within the support of a small road asset management team,
- Inspect, diagnose, and programme road maintenance solutions,
- Be responsible for delivering solutions on time and to budget, while meeting clients’ needs and expectations
- Seek continuous improvement in the road asset management process, including the use of new technology where appropriate
- Provide support in developing proposals
- Have a sound knowledge of relevant NZ standards
- Develop and foster client relationships that contribute to repeat business
