With 14 plants across New Zealand, Silver Fern Farms produces 30% of all of New Zealand’s Lamb, Beef and Venison. The position will be based in Dunedin.

The successful Head of People Systems will lead the delivery of the future roadmap for all HR Business Systems, including payroll, position management, recruitment, learning, training, reward and health and safety. Ensuring stakeholder engagement across the business. This involves implementing best practice processes both internally and with the supplier network to deliver the optimum results in term of cost, quality and service. Responsibilities include: Develop standards, analyse data and drive process improvement across the full suite of people processes and systems.Develop and deliver the road map for HR systems.Monitor the markets and identify opportunities.Coach innovation and change in HR systems.Build and maintain appropriate internal and external relationships.Work with the plants to ensure the execution of HR Systems strategyDevelop commercial frameworks To be successful you will need: Broad-based experience managing IT applications and systems within a medium/large organisationHold a relevant qualifications.Proven track record of IT project management, change management and people leadership.Excellent relationship skills and ability to manage stakeholders.Professional approach.Strong computer literacy and proficiency.Excellent communication skills.
