Due to our continuous growth, we have a new and rare opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team. Summerset is one of the largest retirement village operators and developers in New Zealand. At Summerset, we are passionate about providing quality services and care for our residents.
This is a key leadership role for Summerset, where you're responsible for ensuring all villages in your portfolio operate efficiently, effectively and profitably from a 'whole of business' perspective for the benefit of Summerset and our residents. You'll have a capable team of Village Managers and will see that they are all best placed to provide the highest standard of care. You and your team will be backed by an organisation that sees quality of resident lifestyle and a Continuum of Care as a top priority.
You don't necessarily have to have worked in the Aged Care sector, as your experience managing multiple sites will have armed you with a strong level of commercial acumen. You will also have a genuine passion for helping to create an enjoyable lifestyle for the elderly. You will be a very results focused leader with previous experience developing and leading high performing teams with a strong emphasis on process improvement and delivering results.

The position will be preferably based in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty Regions or Auckland. This role involves a high degree of travel across a portfolio of five villages, which will increase over the next few years. Applicants for this position must also have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
