We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Food and Nutrition Services team at Matariki as a casual kitchen assistant. The successful candidate will be required to be available to cover leave taken by existing staff with the possibility of negotiating a regular duty once per week.
Matariki Continuing Care Facility is a 32 bed facility made up of short term convalescent care beds and long term continuing care beds. Food and Nutrition Services at Matariki provide a high quality service to both the inpatients in Matariki as well as those in the community via the Meals on Wheels service.
If you have excellent communication and time management skills, are a team player and have previous experience in the food and nutrition industry then we would love to hear from you. Ideally you will have a food safety certificate, a passion for working with the elderly and enjoy working in a team environment.
