This is a role where you can engage and retain students and industry partners to position Manukau Institute (MIT) as a tertiary provider of choice.

This is an exciting opportunity to execute creative copywriting for MIT brand and marketing campaigns, website and collateral requirements.
There will be plenty to do where you can add tangible value to our student's journey.
You will enjoy working in collaboration with our digital specialist to support the development and sourcing of web content for MIT's website. You will provide guidance on where content should be placed and write and source copy for the MIT website. Bringing creativity and flair and ability to relate to our students you will work closely with our marketing and strategy and project team to ensure the website is a great user experience.
Your success will be measured by your ability to create content for MIT marketing campaigns that is attention grabbing and adheres to governance and brand guidelines. Working alongside the production and channel team your content will be utilised in the press, radio, billboard, email marketing, brochures and online advertising. There are various external websites to maintain and templates within the CRM platform to change and update.
If you are a team player and pride yourself on your relationship skills, ability to share knowledge and have the capability to perform effectively under busy conditions you will fit right in.
We seek applications from candidates with at least three years' experience in creative copywriting and 1 years-experience in technical copywriting. While training will be given, experience or an understanding in the following platforms and technologies is advantageous.
- Campaign Monitor or any other email campaign delivery system.
- Burst SMS or any other text campaign delivery system.
- Website content management system.
- Office technology including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong Excel skills in particular would be advantageous.
Ideally you bring a marketing qualification or relevant work experience with exposure to developing written copy for campaigns and marketing collateral, if you pride yourself on your can do attitude, customer ethos we would love to hear from you
