The New Zealand Customs Service is seeking to appoint a permanent Corporate Services Officer to support the Wellington Corporate Services team.
The Corporate Services team is part of the wider Finance, Strategy and Performance Group and is responsible for providing sustainable, efficient and effective corporate services within Customs.

Key to this role will be:

  • Carrying out Corporate Services tasks and duties as allocated including:
  • Purchasing goods and services
  • Travel, accommodation and rental car bookings
  • Motor vehicle fleet maintenance
  • Uniform issue
  • Reception support
  • Mail and courier distributions
  • Buildings services and assets maintenance
  • Security system maintenance and programming
  • Staff and visitor passes and security access cards issuing
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace
As a Corporate Services Officer you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality administrative functions as required by Customs. Ideally you'll have previous experience in a customer-focussed role where your professional attitude, calm manner and sound judgement ensure quality standards are maintained.

Applicants are required to be New Zealand Citizens or New Zealand Permanent Residents and hold a current Drivers Licence. You must have lived in New Zealand for the last 5 years to obtain our Organisational Security Clearance. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a drug test.
