Full time permanent Senior Nurse role
Are you looking for a challenge? Do you want to take a step forward to develop your nursing career? This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and innovative individual to step up to the Nurse Educator role in Ward 42, the Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit.
Together with the Charge Nurse you will lead training, education and cultivate a learning culture for the Cardiothoracic Ward. You will empower staff to develop their skills and clinical knowledge to achieve a standard of excellence in cardiothoracic nursing and successfully progress through PDRP. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the wider Cardiac Directorate and Adult Services Educator group sharing resources and knowledge to provide service and organisational wide programmes.
You will be a Registered Nurse with extensive Cardiothoracic Surgical experience and a passion for education through sharing knowledge and clinical expertise .Your nursing experience should be evidence to your commitment to clinical leadership and quality care delivery in addition to your on-going professional development.
- The role will be 8hr shifts Monday - Friday
- Permanent 1.0 FTE
- This is senior nursing position
- Post registration cardiac and/or education qualifications are desirable
- Alignment to ADHB's values and role modeling these in daily activities are key
