Joining the ANZ team you will report to the New Zealand Sales Manager and work alongside the national team, to support all business development/sales initiatives and ongoing customer service.
We envisage you will join the business with a background that either demonstrates a proven track record of sales achievement, or little in the way of track record but attributes that point to your potential with the right mentoring to grow into a leadership role.
The first option will be where you have successfully offered products and solutions to clients in the construction or related sectors in the South Island. You will have proven ability of absorbing technical information, sound commercial sense and have built on-going relationships with leaders and influencers in the construction industry. Because the client believes in career development, you will also be able to give examples of your leadership potential, such as how you have pro-actively influenced others in work or outside of work.
The second option will be where you have attributes pointing to your potential to grow into the role. This may be, for example, that you are a new graduate with a technical, building or engineering related degree, good communication and interpersonal skills, well organised and possess a strong commitment to succeed.
As Account Manager you will work closely with an internal sales team, technical support and other Account Managers. You will be a trusted advisor to your construction industry customers/partners and your contribution to the client’s business will be highly valued and rewarded.
Some travel is involved in the South Island. An attractive base salary, car and bonus is on offer as well as career advancement opportunities.
