Your new role:
Countdown has a great opportunity for a Produce Receival Officer based in Palmerston North
The Produce Receival Officer’s role is to complete an accuracy check on incoming supplier deliveries, picking accuracy, stacking standards and provide support as required to the Quality Control Team checking inbound fresh produce on a daily basis ensuring that all products supplied meets or exceeds company specifications and to report and document any deviations on the approved forms.
Some of your new responsibilities will include :
Inspect & check incoming deliveries against supplier documentation ensuring correct stock and accurate crate counts are recorded.
Complete checks of store loads against pick sheets to ensure pick accuracy versus store order.
Ensure DC complies with safe stacking procedures and that store loads comply with Health & Safety requirements.
Inspect inbound goods against specifications & complete required reports as per WQA requirements.
Keep the business informed of :-
Potential issues that can affect quality of product or service to stores
Situations or events that will impact on supply and /or the profitability of the business
Trends developing that could impact business performance ; eg supplier performance
Unsafe work practices within the DC.
