An exciting opportunity awaits for a passionate, highly motivated and dynamic midwifery leader with expert clinical skills and demonstrated leadership capability to join our team. This role leads a busy, acute gynaecology and maternity unit with approximately 13,000 women seen per annum, providing excellence in care to women and families/whānau. Women's Assessment Unit services include maternity assessments (antenatal and postpartum), inductions of labour, acute gynaecological assessment, an ECV clinic and perinatal loss service.
You will be instrumental in implementing best practice, enhancing women's experiences of care, supporting colleagues and working collaboratively within the broader team to ensure that women and their families/whanau remain at the centre of care, delivering a high quality service.

- Eligibility for New Zealand midwifery registration and an annual practicing certificate
- Knowledge of the New Zealand maternity system
- Significant midwifery experience in secondary and tertiary care
