Senior Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and self managing Senior Technician to join our Auckland based team.
Charged with overseeing and carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, you will enjoy working on a variety of projects, interacting with customers and staff members.
You will have responsibility for site work ensuring that it is carried out to a high standard, within scope and in an efficient and timely manner and most importantly in line with our strict Health and Safety guidelines. In addition you will have responsibility for providing direction for Site Care employees and sub-contractors on site. Just so you don't get bored, there will also be an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and perform your own general maintenance activities.
In order to be considered for this role you should have the following skills and experience -
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar maintenance role
- Have experience working to strong HSE guidelines
- Possess good general maintenance and repair techniques and execution
- Be able to multi-task and plan and prioritise your work to meet required timeframes
- Possess sound decision making skills and common sense
- Have all round building knowledge enabling proactive discussions with contractors
- Be proactive, independent and use good judgement
