Taylor Centre provides a multi-disciplinary, recovery focussed service for clients living in Central Auckland. The Care and Recovery Service provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic treatment options in collaboration with service users, their families/whānau, local communities and the Multi Disciplinary Team within the CMHC. This is achieved through the assessment and management of the complex health needs of service users, with the provision of effectively planned care that supports them to manage their overall healthcare needs.
We have a current vacancy for a Care & Recovery Clinic Nurse to join the team.

Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills. This is ideal for a Mental Health Nurse who has experience and skills working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds and who relates to people who are mental Health Service Users in a respectful, warm and professional manner.

The major focus of the Clinic Nurse role is the provision of medication to Service Users via Intra Muscular Injection. However, a range of other tasks (within professional scope), will be expected from time to time.
A current Annual Practising Certificate and a full and clean NZ driver's licence are essential requirements. Experience within a community mental health setting would be beneficial. ADHB is keen to support PDRP portfolio achievement and post graduate education.
