This kiwi business is an manufacturing business operating in a niche industry working with a range of different businesses around New Zealand. They are located in South Auckland with plenty of parking and flexibility for the right person. They work in an multi-cultural environment and are looking for someone who enjoys working in a diverse organisation with the ability to take ownership of the role.
As the Accounts Clerk you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for a range of different accounting functions. This will include dealing with all Accounts Receivable, creating invoices, receipting and allocating and handling all overdue and outstanding invoices. You will also look after Accounts Payable which is data entry of supplier invoices, coding and matching and preparing multiple payment runs. There will also be an element of payroll and bank reconciliations. As you will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will also assist with any ad-hoc duties required.
You will have experience working in an Accounts Clerk role similar to this position. You will be comfortable with dealing with variety and not afraid to get on the phone for credit control. You will have some exposure to working in an manufacturing or trade environment and be open to liaising with others in the office. You will be comfortable dealing with large volumes and have excellent communication skills. You will be adaptable and enjoy taking ownership of the role.
