Computer Operator Jobs Vacancy in Asb Bank Auckland City Jobs Details:
ASB have an opportunity to join their Operations and Monitoring team on a permanent basis. As a Computer Operator you will be responsible for monitoring applications and tasks and identifying and escalating faults and failures of the various systems. There are a wide range of technical systems including the Unisys mainframe, SAP, Control M and various other platforms that support ASB's technical operations. In particular you will be involved in ATM incident management as well as completing some LAN admin tasks. In addition some helpdesk work is also involved outside normal business hours.
This team operates on 24/7 basis and is responsible for supporting ASB Customer Interactions and enabling overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. The team operate in both the central city and Albany offices. There will be scheduled shift work involved in this role.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate 1- 2 years solid experience in the computer and / or helpdesk industry. PC literacy is a must!! A good understanding of technology, including an understanding of IT foundations and exposure to / confidence with a number of PC Applications will be highly regarded. You will be well organised, confident and have excellent communication skills. Exposure to a mainframe operations environment, whilst useful is not essential as full training will be given.
