As the National Operations Coordinator you will provide operational support to the GM, Regional Sales Managers and Store Managers across the Farm Source Stores network. You’ll know what it takes to juggle conflicting demands and proactively problem solve keeping the team ahead of the game.
Reporting to the General Manager of Sales and Operations, you will be a key member of the Operations Lead Team providing an additional perspective as well as administration support to the wider team. Event management of national roadshows and other conferences will put your logistical and planning skills to good use as you’ll be responsible for ensuring these are executed without a hitch.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our vehicle and forklift fleet, from replacement to infringements. You will also have a key role in driving and prioritising projects for the Operations team, managing stakeholder expectations and outcomes through to implementation.
Additionally, the National Operations Coordinator manages key national contracts for the operations of our 71 Farm Source store making this a fast-paced, highly varied role where your ability to manage ad-hoc requests and unforeseen tasks will be key.
Your ability to self-manage, prioritise and handle ambiguity is what will set you apart from the rest. As a team player, you will display a high degree of integrity and professionalism at all times, maintain confidentiality, while bringing a sense of fun and liveliness to the role.
Your understanding of complex, multi-functional organisations and ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders will mean you are comfortable navigating the operations for 71 retail stores.
Ideally you have a tertiary qualification or are able to demonstrate your ability to think critically and research well to ensure advice and decisions are well informed and align with best practice. Previous event or project management experience would also be highly valued.
