Join us as Payroll Manager and you will be responsible for managing and executing all activities related to both waged and salaried payroll for ABB New Zealand, including compliance with all internal and external requirements. In addition, you will be the key interface between our offshore HR processing center and our local business, providing you with broad opportunities for business engagement.Reporting to the Country HR Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to: • Manage and execute all NZ ABB waged and salaried payroll processes, including processing timesheets, checking authorisations, preparing and processing pay and filing payrolls. • Act as primary interface between Global Business Services (GBS) offshore and ABB New Zealand business. • Responsible for salaried and waged payroll, with support from Payroll / HR Administrator. • Provide day to day supervision to the Payroll / HR Administrator to ensure timely and accurate completion of all payroll and admin related activities • Execute interface with all remuneration related benefit schemes such as superannuation scheme, medical insurance and employee share acquisition program (ESAP). • In conjunction with external consultants, interpret any new legislation impacting payroll and ensure legal changes and updates are implemented in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance with all amendments.Key Requirements: • Experience in managing a SAP payroll within the New Zealand environment, including managing PAYE, ACC and KiwiSaver. • Experience managing both IEA and CEA payroll activities. • Willingness and flexibility to interface with HR administration teams onshore and offshore. • Identify, recommend and implement improvement opportunities in payroll and front office related activities. • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office in particular MS Excel and Word. • Qualification related to HR or Accounting is advantageous.
