Illustrator Faculty Arts Part Time Fte Jobs Vacancy in The University Auckland Auckland City Jobs Details:
We currently have a vacancy for a part time Illustrator (0.5 FTE) to join the Anthropology technical team in the School of Social Sciences. In this role, you will prepare visual material for both students and staff for academic research, publications and seminars. You will conceptualise and advise on illustrations, cartography, page layout and sizing for the publication of books, academic papers, theses and illustrative material.
Reporting to the Technical Team Leader, our successful candidate will ideally have a tertiary qualification (preferably in Anthropology) and at least one year of work experience as Illustrator in an academic environment supporting teaching and/or research.
We are looking for someone with:
Solid ArcGIS, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator skills
The ability to take direction and be flexible working with students and academic staff
Knowledge of new technologies in Illustration, or an interest in this area
In this role, you will be part of small team of 4 specialist technical staff who use their individual areas of expertise to support the School of Social Sciences and in particular the discipline of Archaeology
