Our client, one of Canterbury's largest employers, is seeking an Asset Management Capability Specialist. Working alongside the Executive Management Team, 2018 will be an exciting year for the organisation as they prepare to undertake the 2019 ICR (Investor Confidence Rating) assessment. In addition to this project, the role will see you review the current asset lifecycle of 3 significant portfolio's (including IT, Facilities and Equipment), provide recommendations on how to improve their capability in asset management and assist in creating an asset management plan and long term investment plan.
This newly created position is a strategic advisory role offering a rare opportunity to work on multiple portfolios within a prominent South Island organisation. The influence you will have and the opportunity to impact such an organisation will open many doors to your advancing career.
With no operational pressure and no people management, you will be able to focus on developing relationships with key internal stakeholders. The result; valuable insight into existing processes, management and use of assets. Providing you with all the necessary information to make informed recommendations on improved asset management.

To be considered for this role, you will need experience in asset management, ideally having worked with multiple portfolios and/or having worked in a large organisation. You will need to demonstrate strategic capability, exhibit leadership traits and have the ability to communicate with and influence those around you.
