ASB Securities is a leading provider of online sharetrading services for retail investors. We currently have an opportunity for a Key Relationship Broker to build, manage, retain and grow our High Value sharetrading clients. You will provide them with world class relationship based client service, championing ASB's Sales and Service culture.
In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service to assist ASB Securities High Value Clients (HVCs) to achieve their investment needs and goals. You will acquire new business from existing HVCs as well as new clients through referrals, working with the Online and Telephone Broking team to identify prospects and building close relationships with AEGIS to identify opportunities for new business from wholesale HVCs. You will also engage in a risk management culture and ensure the Premium Broking team adheres to all rules and regulations set by governing bodies.
You will take an active role in helping us to educate, present to and assist clients to improve our sales and services and ensure ASB Securities remains a market leader in its field. You will build a comprehensive knowledge of each of your clients and ASB Securities products and services, as you are very much the face of the ASB.
Key to your success will be:
- 3 years' financial markets experience and knowledge of sharebroking;
- Ability to work as a team player within a high pressure, customer focused environment;
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills;
- Ability to formulate and initiate revenue generating ideas, with experience in identifying and securing new business;
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise and work autonomously; and
- Knowledge of retail banking products as well as share trading products, services and business practices.
- Due to our client requirements, the ability to speak fluently in Mandarin would be desirable.
