What can our construction projects build for you?
The project; Christchurch Hospital is the redevelopment of the existing Hospital. The Acute Services Building will consist of three podium levels with inpatient services, plant rooms, emergency department, theatres and rehabilitation units together with two six storey towers of inpatient wards, plant room, roof-top helipad and associated infrastructure works.
With construction expected to be completed later this year, a Commissioning Manager is required to ensure works are managed and handed over on time, achieving optimum performance from building services through a planned and detailed programme that identifies the key tasks from specification, through construction and commissioning, and into post-occupancy aftercare.
Key suitability includes:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in completions/commissioning - major construction projects
- Previous experience with hospital construction (or similar building projects)
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors.
This is a full-time permanent role offering a career with our organisation. Upon project completion it is expected you will redeploy to another of our major commercial building projects in Christchurch, or around the country.
