Would you enjoy the opportunity to work as a valued support worker providing support to our clients in their homes? We are looking experienced female support workers who have a passion for supporting people to enjoy life and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
We presently have both full time and casual positions available which are rostered over a 7 day week, therefore a willingness and flexibility to work weekends and sleepovers is a must. You must also have had experience working with tetraplegic clients and be able to work well in a team environment. If you are looking for a position where you can make a difference to a person's life and help them to live the life they deserve, we would love to hear from you.
We offer: • full induction and client specific training• excellent rates of pay based on qualifications• on-going mentoring and support• training to NZQA Level 2 and higher as applicable
Typical responsibilities include: • household management including meal preparation, shopping, cleaning• personal support including hoist transfers, showering, dressing, grooming• assistance to get out and about in the community
Requirements: • a current full driver's licence and reliable transport• reliable and professional with a can do attitude• have a compassionate and caring nature• have good communication skills and fluency in English• be eligible to work in New Zealand
