Permanent, Part time
0.8 FTE (64 Hours Per Fortnight)
A highly sought after registered nurse position has become available in the Radiology department, Taranaki Base Hospital.
We are seeking applications from registered nurses who have experience in Radiology or an acute nursing environment. You must be adaptable and progressive with a positive 'can do' attitude.
This position is rostered and rotating Monday to Friday and will involve working in the following modalities: CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine and ultrasound with a growing workload in interventional procedures including (but not limited to), angiography, angioplasty, nephrostomy's etc. Scrub and circulating nurse experience will be a definite advantage.
We require someone who is a fast learner and a strong team player, who enjoys the challenge of a unique, dynamic and demanding clinical environment. You must be adaptable, flexible and with a willingness to learn new techniques and skills.
IV cannulation and previous radiology experience is preferred; however training in all aspects of this role will be offered to the successful applicant.
