(normally between 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Administrators who are specifically seeking casual employment in the Hawkes Bay area!

We are seeking highly motivated people to join our dynamic administration support team working on a casual basis across our departments at the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital.

Naturally you will be able to recognise the needs, aims and aspirations of whanau from all culturally diverse groups within our community. We are ideally looking for someone with several years experience in a busy role, and it is essential that you have the following skills:

  • Customer service and reception experience
  • Typing and word processing skills
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint) and related functions e.g. mail merge, plus computer savvy to learn the other software packages used.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - internally and externally.
  • Adaptable and flexible with hours
  • Ability to embrace the DHB values

You will be required to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have strong attention to detail.

You will need to have the flexibility to be available on call at short notice to cover leave and sickness absence, and casual employment will be what fits best around your lifestyle. It would be an advantage if you have previous experience working in the health sector.
