This is your opportunity to work for a leading global insurer from the comfort of your own home! You’ll be providing exceptional service to our customers and promoting insurance products to meet individual needs through professional outbound calls.

We are recruiting now for Insurance Sales Consultants to start on 26 February 2018 a two week paid induction training programme based at the Wellington Head Office between the hours of 10 am to 6 pm. Transport and accommodation costs are covered for out-of-towners.
As a trained Insurance Sales Consultant, you'll be offering insurance products to Cigna’s and our partners’ customers, to meet their particular needs, and to help ensure they are sufficiently protected throughout the various stages of their lives. Cigna NZ is a leading specialist provider of life insurance, funeral cover, cancer cover, income protection insurance, accidental death insurance, trauma insurance, travel insurance and bill cover protection products.

Our standard part-time working hours are Monday to Friday 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and full-time working hours are Monday to Friday 12.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

We are looking for people to join our Work from Home team who: · Are results focused and highly motivated to achieve targets;
· Are mature, self-motivated, and well suited to working autonomously from a home-based office;
· Enjoy connecting with others, and have a desire to understand our customers different life stages to be able to offer products aligned to their needs;
· Have a confident and professional telephone manner to deliver an exceptional customer experience; and
Working remotely:

Adequate broadband connectivity* and a suitable, dedicated home office space are essential pre-requisites. Renters will need their landlord’s consent. All Work from Home employees will be provided with the necessary hardware and equipment and a separate broadband line for work purposes.

No, you have a base salary and a quarterly incentive percentage if you achieve your KPI’s.

Do I get given the PC and other computer equipment?

Yes, we give you all of the hardware that is needed to perform the job, as well as a reimbursement for a desk and chair.

Do I have to attend the whole induction?

Yes, it’s important our Insurance Sales Consultants are fully trained to support our customers therefore you will be required for the two weeks.

Please note; If offered a position with us, it can take up to 6/8weeks to get a corporate line installed; should this not be done before your first day working at home you will need to use your personal broadband connection until this has been set up. Cigna will reimburse you if this results in an additional charge for you. This may result in a slower connection, however it is a temporary solution until the corporate line in installed.
