Building Consent Officer Jobs Vacancy in Company Jobs Details:
The Council has an opportunity for an experienced and pragmatic Building Consent Officer with 2 - 3 years' experience in reviewing complex residential and commercial applications to join our Building Unit based in Rangiora. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role will require you to be available to the public between 8.30am - 5pm.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that building consents are processed and approved in accordance with the Building Code. You will work with a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service to customers both inside and outside the Council.
We are looking for a computer literate team player with the ability to prioritize workloads, a "can-do" attitude, a good eye for detail, and a solutions-focused mindset with sound emotional intelligence.
