CADS is the largest alcohol and drug treatment provider in New Zealand and we offer nurses the opportunity to develop specialist skills within a rewarding field. We have a commitment to staff development and offer excellent orientation and training opportunities.
Ideally we are seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our dedicated team, providing high quality nursing care to clients withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs in an inpatient unit. Previous experience in working in the addiction, community health or mental health sectors would be advantageous, although not essential.
To be successful in this role you will need to have well developed relationship building skills, as well as being able to work autonomously while being part of a multidisciplinary team. If you are a team player, have excellent communication and time management skills then we would like to hear from you.
These are casual positions and cover rostered shifts. You will therefore need to be available to cover any rostered shift, including night duty, and be available to cover short notice sick leave.
