As the Manager, Student Connections & Engagement (Ngaio Hononga Pia) you will play a strategic role and contribute to the leadership of student services while working across Unitec to maximise student success and retention. You will do this through developing and implementing strategies to improve the student experience.
You will develop and deliver operational strategy, planning, delivery and ongoing development of frontline customer service teams while supporting other services to enable student-centric delivery cohesively. This pivotal position will maximise the opportunity to impact positively upon student success and retention, particularly for Māori and Pacific students.

To be successful in this position, you will have a clear demonstration of leadership behaviours that build engagement and enable a high performing team. This experience will come from within the tertiary environment. An awareness of Tikanga Māori and the values and practices of Kaupapa Māori is important in this position.
