The OpportunityOur client is seeking a Tradeshow Technician to join their company in Henderson, Auckland , with the potential to earn $50,000 - $55,000 per annum + overtime on offer. Within this challenging and rewarding position, the successful candidate will be tasked with travelling New Zealand to work on various shows throughout the year. Not only will this allow the successful candidate the opportunity to see much of what beautiful New Zealand has to offer, it will push them to uphold the standard of excellence our client has consistently presented to its clients. Excitingly, the opportunity to become a qualified electrician by completing your apprenticeship while working is also available for the successful candidate.
The primary purpose of this position is to work alongside a team of experienced electricians and lighting engineers to install a variety of lighting and power requirements at events such as trade shows, home shows and spring gift fairs.
Reporting directly to the Trades and Exhibitions Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the installation of event lighting,
- Creating original concepts as well as ensuring renderings and plots are implemented with accuracy and purpose
- Construct high-quality staging and install theatre drapes
