SKYCITY's Fortuna Restaurant is a buffet style restaurant that boasts an extensive seafood selection, champagne ham, a fantastic range of fresh salads, vegetarian dishes and of course a variety of tasty desserts. It is a great place for friends and family gatherings and celebrations.

The team at Fortuna is looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join them in their busy restaurant. As a DM you assist in managing the day to day operations, looking after rostering and customer flow and bookings through RESPAK whilst providing exceptional customer service. It's not uncommon to see 500 customers come through the doors at any given dining periods, with tables being turned around twice in each sitting.

To be successful in this role, you'll be professional with a real focus on customer service. You'll also have proven Food and Beverage experience gained in a reputable restaurant or Hotel setting. Sound supervisory skills are essential as you will be looking after up to 20 waiters on shift and knowledge of the bar and cash handling experience is an absolute must.

As a busy, fast paced operation that is open 7 days a week, there is a lot of variety across our shift patterns and hours of work can vary, so flexibility will be key. Due to legal requirements, you must be over the age of 20 to be considered for the role.
